of Sports Science degree programme at University of Malaya. The degree is highly regarded within both the national and international markets. The centre is proud of its reputation

Our blend of the traditional and innovative has academic
integrity and will enhance career prospects. The course is unique in Malaysia in the
way in which it is delivered in a multidisciplinary fashion, structured around three specialisations: Sport Management; Science of Coaching; Exercise Physiology. This provides the breadth and depth
of knowledge to address issues of direct relevance to management of sport, coaching and exercise science with real confidence.
The programme stretches over a minimum
period of 6 semesters.Under the flexibility of the University Semester System, students
can opt to complete the programme within the maximum period of 10 semesters.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The programme structure comprises the University Component (15%) and the Faculty/Centre Component (85%).
A broad-based knowledge of sport science is covered in the first 2 semesters with core courses in management, research skills,
general physiology and psychology. On successful completion of the core courses, students can choose to major in any one of
the following disciplines:
[1] Sport Management
[2] Science of Coaching
[3] Exercise Physiology
Students enrolled in this programme will be given choice to major in any of the above three specialisations
by following either one of the two options. The undergraduate programme structure is as below:
[1] OPTION
A: Bachelor of Sports Science (Single Major)
a) Sport Management or
b) Science of Coaching or
c) Exercise Physiology.
[2] OPTION
B: Bachelor of Sports Science (Major + Minor)
