This laboratory is to help students of Science discipline to acquire skills in use of laboratory. Tools and materials for experiments and practical work can be obtained from this laboratory. The workshop fascilities in the laboratory are allocated especially for students who intend to construct tools for their instructional needs. Students should follow the safety rules here. If they find any difficulty in using the tools and materials in the laboratory, they should ask for assistance from the staff on duty.

Microcomputer Room

Staffs : Mr. Mohd Subli bin Salim, MissNorazlina binti Ahmed Nawawi, Mr. Mohd Hasri Che Ros

Microcomputer unit is equipped with several IBMXT Microcomputer. The unit is to aid students of Bachelor of Education and Master of Education to acquire computer application skills in education. The unit is also for processing of education research data. Students who use the computers in this unit should abide by all the rules.

Graphic Room

Staff : Mr. Raja Shamsul Bukhari B. Raja Mokhtar

This section provides assistance to students in the Faculty of Education to gain access to materials and touse available space to construct teaching aids for micro teaching and practicum. Work on enlargement of maps, and cutting of stirobusa can be done here. Among the available materials here are manila card, box cards(two types), paint, brushes, stationeries etc.

Library

Staff : Mr. Zainuddin Ahmad

The library aims to provide information services which are needed by students, lecturers and educators of educational field. Various types of materials especially related to education field can be obtained. Among them are school text books, research suggestions, thesis, journals of local education, reports, conference texts, newspaper cuttings and syllaby.

Multimedia Room

Staff : Mr. Khairy bin Khalid, Mr.Mohd Izwan Hafiz bin Mohd Nor

The Mulitimedia room provides equipment fascilities and computer softwares. The equipments include 15 mulitimedia computer units which can fascilitate 30 students, a printer, an LCD projector, a videocamera and a scanner. A Macromedia software is available to produce interactive multimedia teaching-learning aids. The room is mainly for students who take multimedia technology and internet courses. The aim of the room is to equip students with basic multimedia-internet skills for teaching and learning in schools.

Woodwork Workshop

Staff : Mr. Omar Shaari

Wood workshop provides services and fascilities to aid students and staffs in producing materials and teaching aids such as charts, 3D models and instructinal boards. The workshop also provides materials like plywood, softboard, zinc, chart hangers and other raw materials needed.

TV Studio

 

The TV Studio prepares fascilities and services for micro teaching, recordings from recorded telecasts in and out of the studio and video production. Several education programmes can be obtained from the studio for the teaching and learning purposes.
