Institute of China Studies

The Institute of China Studies (ICS) is a research institute of the University of Malaya that is dedicated to the study of contemporary China and its relations with Malaysia and other countries and regions. Besides being a research and resource centre, ICS also acts as a policy adviser to the government and the corporate sector, and engages in academic exchange and dialogue with local and foreign institutions to promote greater interest and awareness on issues related to China in the context of regional as well as global development.
